Children's Groups at Sturry Church

Sturry church has a variety of different groups for babies, children and young people.

At the youngest age range, for pre-school children there is Pram and Buggy, a mid week group on a Wednesday morning which includes a short service aimed at 1-4 year olds plus their parents, grandparents or carers. On a Sunday, Junior Church meets at the back of church in the lower tower room for this age group.

For children in years reception to year 5 there is Sunday Jammers on a Sunday morning. There are also occasional Jammers after school clubs at Sturry and Hersden primary schools.

From year 6 upwards there is the Seekers and SuperSeekers for those over 14.

Occasionally Sturry Church runs a Holiday Club - either a week in the summer or on Good Friday, geberally for children aged 4-10.

The Flame music group is for all ages but it mostly made up of young people.

Sunday services

Each month there are two 'all age' services. The family service on the first Sunday of the month and and the All age Holy Communion on the fourth Sunday of the month. The Sunday Jammers and Seekers remain in church during these weeks.

Young people of all ages are welcome at Sturry church 9:30am services.
