This year the joint church and school summer fair was held at St Nicholas Church and the Milner Memorial Ground. It was a very enjoyable hot summer day.
Outside there were car-rides, a coconut-shy, plate-smashing, tombolas, raffles, barBQ, and various other stalls and competitions. Inside the church there were refreshments, cakes, paintings, plants and several displays by the Horticultural Society of photographs and sweet-peas. The church tower was open to visitors, together with a video and demonstration of bell ringing.
