In Sturry and District United church, confirmation and reception into full membership of the church occurs after the age of 12. For younger people wishing to receive communion before confirmation there is a series of discussions followed by a service to celebrate taking communion for the first time.

After the morning service on 20th May 2007, the Seekers and Super Seekers raised money for Christian Aid by selling cakes, selling cards, organising a raffle and a Copper Trail.
The copper trail started from the church porch and gradually extended the full length of the churchyard. Donations from kind neighbours enabled the Seekers copper trail to reach the entrance to the churchyard. More photos on the Christian Aid page.
