We hope you like the photo (right) of one of the Sunday School leaders!
In Sunday school, we play games (photo on the left), sing songs, act out stories, have discussions
prayers and craft activities. Several times a year we help lead part of the All-age or Family Services at Sturry.
At the 2004 Gift Service we led the congregation in a Rap.

We acted out the story of Easter Day, with some women and then the disciples finding the tomb empty. The women were told that Jesus had come alive again. We then used materials from the garden to design several Easter Gardens. Most of these has an empty tomb. Some of them also showed the cross on which Jesus was killed.

Sunday school helped read the prayers at the Family Gift Service. We made these cards at Sunday school; some of us wrote prayers and others drew pictures of them. At the Gift Service, some of us read the prayers and others lit candles.

René Pereira from Northern Argentina visited Sturry this weekend, together with Richard Crofts, the Area Secretary of the South American Mission Society (SAMS). Phil Craft, a reader at Sturry has worked with René in Northern Argentina among the Indian population.
René is responsible for training young people's leaders in the church in Northern Argentina. On Sunday morning he showed Sturry Sunday school and Seekers photographs of the schools and churches where he lives and works. He also taught as a song (in Spanish).
In the evening, René talked (via Phil Craft as interpreter) about his work, life and economy in Northern Argentina.
