MegaQuest - God's Big Plan for the World

MegaQuest was all about God's Big Plan for the World

"In the beginning, God made heaven and earth"
Genesis 1.v.1

God created light, and we made these lanterns

But we also discovered how men and women (like Adam and Eve) started to disobey God. On Tuesday we learnt about the 10 commandments that God gave us to show us how to live. We used clay to make models of stone tablets or anything else such as pots or even elephants! We discussed how God wants us to follow his ways. In giving us laws to live by, God was guiding us and looking after his people long-term as a shepherd looks after his sheep.

"The Lord is my shepherd. I shall want nothing"
Psalm 23.v1

On Wednesday we heard about the next part of God's Big Plan for the World - one that relied only on God; a God who will even die for us his people. We thought about Jesus dying for us on the cross, and sang "When I think upon the cross" whilst thinking what the cross means for each of us.
We then designed our own T-shirts - many of them with images of the cross or MegaQuest on them.

On Thursday we heard about Jesus coming alive again - and that Jesus is alive now.
